In Receipt Generator the system keeps track of the numbers for the next receipt to be issued. Each time donations or payments are received a receipt is issued internally and this configuration is utilized by those processes to manage the receipt numbering system.
The grid view will display each receipt generator’s code, name, last receipt code, and if the receipt generator is the default.
You can print or download a list of receipt generators using the printer or excel icons on the right above the grid view.
You can search for receipt generators using their code or name.
There are action buttons on the right for each receipt generator to edit or delete the receipt generator; however, you may not delete a receipt generator that has been configured for the organization.
Each organization has an initial receipt generator that will be used by the system and has been setup and configured as needed initially. The last receipt code we wouldn’t expect to need to be updated or changed until we needed to restart receipt coding over.
